Just roasted my first Pastured Sensations chicken and it was amazing! Juicy, flavorful - and being pasture raised, it's a chicken I can feel good about eating. Thank you!
P.S. I'm already daydreaming about my Thanksgiving turkey... ;)
Just wanted to let you know that the turkey was the BEST we have ever eaten!! We'll be looking forward to ordering for next year, as well as ordering chicken when you have them available. YUM!! And thanks!
The pork is fabulous. And we feel really good about buying our meat from a sustainable farm. We’re trying to transition all of our groceries and you’re helping us get there!
We ate the 16 lb for Thanksgiving, a table for 9. It was probably the most expensive turkey I've ever cooked, BUT is was the best I've ever eaten. All those at our table agreed. Nancy and I ate it for the next 3 days following and it was still moist and tender. I don't like breasts as they are usually dry and tasteless, but these were excellent. I made soup from the carcuss and again it was a winner. We look forward to the 13 lb for Xmas. Thanks and a good job!
The turkey was wonderful….and the carcass has simmered all day today. Tomorrow will be making the noodles, letting them dry and then my favorite turkey dish…homemade turkey and noodles. The gravy was delish. The drippings from the turkey are absolutely out of this world.
I wanted to let you know my chicks are doing GREAT on the feed! One thing I noticed is that their poop has a totally different texture. It’s more pooplike and less messy/muddy/wet. I used to feed quick oatmeal to my chicks for the first week to prevent them from pasting up but it looks like this feed prevents that on its own. I’m loving it and the chicks are too. No picking at butts while the chick squawks. In other news, we had some fun with one of the chicks in front of the camera last night… as you know harvesting chickens gives you an oddball sense of humor sometimes. Here's the evidence.

Last year we ordered poultry from Paul. The birds are delicious – just indescribably
better than the typical grocery store bird. Everyone raved about our turkey – my
husband is our master chef when it comes to turkey, and the results were amazing!
We are so grateful to have a local source of pastured chicken

I purchased all my chickens and turkeys from Pastured Sensations last year.
It is a family run business and I have consistently enjoyed their products. The
chickens had more meat and less fat then other organic chickens I have had in
the past. The chicken is juicy and has a nice taste. I cooked up a huge 28 pound
turkey for Thanksgiving, and it was incredible! That bird was so flavorful and
everyone was raving. My husband's grandmother is still talking about it! I saved
one for Easter and I'm so glad that I purchased an extra last November.

We baked our SENSATIONAL Chicken today! We filled the cavity with chopped
celery and onion. It doesn't have that odd flavor common to Free Range chickens
that are typically purchased at PCC or QFC. I do have an issue with your chickens
not being fed organic grain but the end product is superior in flavor to any other
chicken that I have purchased in the State of Washington. And I appreciate your
honesty. I personally know other growers that try to hide the fact of what they
really feed their cattle, pigs and chickens.

I just love making fried chicken with your chickens. And have been frying it
in grass fed lard...oh man, so good, I could never go back to sick, non real
chicken again! Thank you!

I thought I would never again enjoy the wonderful flavors of
chicken that I
recalled from my childhood. Thank goodness I was wrong. The flavor and quality
I get from your chickens, not to mention the superior nutritional value from
the way they are fed and raised, is second to none. I had been concerned about
my family's health when having to settle for so much of the food found in stores
nowadays. As a result I have searched a long time, locally and online, to find
this kind of quality and consider you a real treasure. To be able to find sources of
food that I know will contribute to the good health of my family is invaluable.
Thank you and your family for providing mine with a choice!
